The holiday season always poses very unique risks to professional drivers.  Not only do professional drivers have to deal with deteriorating weather conditions, but they also have to deal with the other non-professional drivers on the road.  Here are a few tips to keep this holiday season a joyous one:
  • Buckle up every trip, every time – even when traveling short distances
  • Refrain from all electronic device use – including hands-free – behind the wheel
  • Plan ahead and drive defensively, especially during bad weather
  • Be on the look-out for impaired/drunk drivers- if you encounter an impaired driver, keep a safe distance away, DO NOT ATTEMPT TO PASS and call 911

The holidays are a time for joy and celebration.  Do your best to not only be sure you and your family can enjoy them, but also drive defensively and professionally to PROTECT OTHERS
